Some thoughts on what a resto shaman can bring to the various boss fights in Karazahn.
Trash before Attumen:
- Tremor Totem.
Attumen:
- Nothing resto shaman specific. In phase 2 hug Attuman or you’ll get charged.
Moroes:
- I’ve still not got any special notes for this one, though both times we’ve downed him I’ve dropped a Fire Elemental just before I died (again both times), only do this if its the very last stages of the battle (no Crowd Control in operation). 2 minutes extra DPS while Dead!
Maiden:
- Grounding Totem.
- Earth Shield just before the silence.
- Gift of the Naruu just before the silence.
- Be ready for a quick heal just after the silence, you’ve got several seconds to think about this, use them.
Big Bad Wolf:
- Tremor totem.
- I’m told Earthbind totem doesn’t work on the BBW.
Romulo and Juliette
- Interrupt duty on Julie, have a macro to stop casting and Earth Shock Rank 1, and if it’s OK use it. She casts fast so she has to be your focus or target, there’s no time to click twice. It’s probably better to interrupt her heals than the AOE thing. You can avoid the AOE by standing by the edge of the stage and having the tank pull her into a corner.
- In phase 2, cast heroism the instant (or just before) one of them dies so the other one goes down faster.
- Grounding totem doesn’t seem to do anything in this fight.
